Well I'm actually still somewhat new to the German side of things, I come from DSMs.. first was a bone stock '95 GS-T (fwd turbo) that I put all my money into while in high school:

Sold that with my sights set on AWD, found this bone stock low-mile beauty, '91 GSX (awd turbo), threw about $3500 in mods at it in a week, broke so many parts, it became a $3500 lawn ornament for a few months. Got it running VERY strong, it became unreliable when I needed something that would start up more than once a week so I sold it :(

Bought a '98 RS (n/t fwd) for reliability, tried to get myself out of the tuner scene to save some $, hated every minute of it. Thankfully sold the machine soon.

Now I'm onto my first german auto, a '99 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro. I LOVE IT. It's still bone stock minus a shitload of maintenance I've done to it. I'm waiting to tear into it in the spring. In mind are wheels/coilovers/ecodes (newer a4 headlights)/RS4 grille/35% tint all around/clear corners/LOTS of performance :)

Give it 6 months, you won't recognize it ;) BTW I have TONS of pics of each car, I'm always taking pictures.

I actually did the complete 97-99 swap on it, looked tons better. I'm still into DSMs as all my car friends from back at home still have them.. it's hard to leave them because parts are so cheap compared to Audi :p

any of your buddies have a 97+ prelude? i got a carbon fiber hood collecting up some dust. Also i got some wheels that i'll let go for cheap.

I know one who has a Prelude, not sure what year it is.. I'd assume around '97, I'll ask though!

Actually there's interest in both the hood and wheels. Is it an OEM style CF hood or vented? What're the specs on the wheels?

Wheels are 18" Konig Tantrums with 3 nitto neogen tires 215/35/18. One tire had a flat so its not good. Also one wheel has a bend in it but does not affect the ride. A place in dSM told me he could fix it for about 25 bucks. The hood is OEM and is from VIS Racing (the hood is kinda warped so im basically letting it go for next to nothing.)

silver, 5x114.3? (i forget what prelude lug pattern is..) offset? how bad is the warp?

I cant remember, but for the price im offering iunno if they could turn it down. :) I'll give it to them for $75 bucks. You got the bolt pattern right ont he rims. From what i remember i do not have any curb rash on them either. Only thing is the dent in it from I-80 West bound. If anyone remembers this bump in the middle lane by the 2nd street exit... you know what im talking about it.... (its fixed now)

PS. If no one wants the hood, imma bring it to the GTG in feb and we are going sledding with it.

Don't get too excited gtev :p I know this Prelude guy through a DSM friend of mine, they're in the Cedarloo area here and would be willing to drive down there.. or hell if I could even fit it in my Audi then I could just pick it up at the GTG and pay you myself?
