View Full Version : Marion/Cedar Rapids GTG (JUNE 30)

We will be having a GTG at my parents house/garage in Marion this saturday to do an exhaust install on Steve's Jetta and a few other miscellaneous things. Well do a cook out, take plenty of pictures, and have a good cruise...There may be.....well, there probably will be some beer involved after the cruise is over. Saturday June 30th. Starting around 14:00.

I may stop down for a while. I'm planning on going to Cedar Falls for the midnight mayhem, so I can probably make this stop first.

i used two tanks of fuel for the dbq GTG so i'll be sitting this one out :td:

I'm hoping to make it. We'll see how I feel Saturday afternoon. I'll be at Cordova Friday night till 5am ish then work from 8-12 Saturday morning. I'm going to try and make it happen.

Well I hope to have my exhaust by Friday, or we wont have anything to install....I still dont have a tracking number.

It's about an hour and a half from your huge city of lincoln. 72 miles according to google maps. But I've driven to waterloo from c.r. in less than an hour, so who really knows.

how far from lincoln ? i love this group but hard to get to the GTG's. but ya know what i got lots of new stuff for the jet!

I think jettalvr41 is actually from Lincoln, NE, which is about 324 mi from Marion. ;)

Hmm.. maybe this wouldn't be worth that much of a drive. Although every time I'm at dan's place he fires up the grill and some good brats get eaten! :D

John at 20 Squared Tuning is really jerkin me around on this one....If anyone else sold it I would have cancelled my order already....12 days and I doubt it has even shipped.....


In The future I am only doing business with ECS Tuning....

Im calling Eurojet this afternoon to do a little investigating :sly: . I have a feeling that John at 20 squared didn't have any exhausts in stock, and waited two weeks to call Eurojet to place an order. Cause John told me he called Eurojet yesterday, and then last night I get an E-mail with a DHL tracking number. But up until yesterday he couldn't ship it because of missing clamps?

And I got my new side skirts in the mail and one of them cracked.....:eek:

Next weekend won't work for me...I will be in the Chi with the gf
