GTG with GOVAG

I've been talking with some of the guys from both PKG and GOVAG and we're hoping to set up another gtg sometime this summer. Maybe by the end of July? I figured I'd throw this out there to see if anyone has some ideas. Last time everyone met in Atlantic. There's Lake Anita State Park about 12 miles east of Atlantic and that might be a good place. What does everyone think?

So we have a suggestion for Saturday, August 4th? Does this sound like a good date for most everyone? I still have to see what the guys around here think, but that seems like a great date for me. We're starting to set up our next monthly GTG in July. I'll try to keep ideas flowing back and forth as much as possible. How about the site? Does this sound like a good place? It looks too be a good middle ground between Omaha and Des Moines with lots of space. Keep the suggestions coming!:tu:

I think the 4th works for me, the wife is out of town for work the week before that but I think she gets back on Friday and not Saturday. The weekend before I will be in Chicago for a friend's b-day though. :tu:

Wow! I was really not paying attention when I thought the 4th would be a good date... That's the same day as the cornball run... I don't wanna take their date for something and have less turnout at either because of it... What does everyone think would be a better day?
