Anyone know where i can get my car dropped for around 300 or less? I asked the Campus Garage in ames and they charge an arm and a leg ($500). Also a nice place to get my car tinted in the Des moines area. thanks.

Buy the parts to drop it and well get togeter and do it with you.... always need a excuse to hook up:tu:

Tinting in Des Moines should be like throwing darts at a crowded party when your blind drunk.... point and shoot, odds are youll get someone.:D

Check out the GTG threads.. we're going to be starting up a monthly GTG on the first Sunday of each month starting in Feb. If you need it done sooner then I'm sure somebody can help :)

Im in no rush. I'll get my lowers painted and get s4 blades first, deal with the drop later. Anyone around here running b6 a4's?

There's only a handful of us Audi people. I'm early '99 B5 A4. John has an '05.5 A4. Then there's also another guy with another A4, don't remember the year.

Check out trim designs for tinting in DM they are far from the cheapest but stand behind thier work plus they use 3M graphite shaded tint so it won't turn colors over time

I have always gone to Dent Eleminators. Not sure what they use for their tint but, never had any issues with tint color change and they also have a life time garuntee on the tint. They used my car to get their template for the MKV GTI so I got a discount. As for springs, we could do it here but I don't have any air tools. We would all love to use it as an exuse to get together.

I know it's illegal here but I'm gonna tint the front anyway (possibly moving to Phoenix next year..), know anyone who will tint 35% all around?

I think most will do it, just have to sign a waiver.

I can do it in my garage if you bring a spring compressor (you can rent mcpherson spring compressors at just about any o'reilly's/advanced auto). But, first let me ask, are your uprights aluminum or steel? Steel ones tend to be a bitch and need to be forced into submission taking alot more time.
