Well she started out alot like it is now. I got a smoking deal in March of 2005. Alot of stuff was done to it when I got it. I'll start the story here. Here's my first VW to get me going in the game.

Then I bought my current MKIV Jetta.

Previous owner picture of when he had it done up. He sold most of the exterior parts from it before I got ahold of it.

Here's how I picked it up. Pretty much how it looks now minus the badgeless grill and joey mod headlights.

It's a bitchin car, Chad. I love the platinum grey. I also liked the badgeless grill better when it was black, but it still looks good. One thing I would really love to see is welding that hood notch, but that could wait until you get her resprayed. ;)

Keep up the good work man. I still need to see this car in person. :tu:

Find me some a8s and we'll swap

But I think the sideskirts, frt. bumper and rear lip make the a8s look so much better.

Great photos man! The car is looking awesome. I need to get out there sometime to drool on it. :D

Have you ever thought about the smoked GLI tails like DubWalkn has? I think those would look killer.

I've thought about smoking mine using nightshades. I think I am painting my grill back to black tonight too. I just don't like it painted to match.

woot woot, back to black on the grill. :tu:

As far as the tails go, I just think the smoked GLIs would look nice because of the clear/white sections in the tails. I don't like how the regular tails are all red.

Yeah, it's personal preference. I loved my smoked hellas on my old MKIII Jetta. I really don't like the white parts in the s/c/s/c tailights. I would just rather have them all smoked myself.

word. I'd be interested to see how your tails would turn out with the nightshades.
