Thanks guys. You really can't tell the red fog is there till you get up close or it is turned on. Rain sucks. Plain and simple.

We need snow already.. if it were just a little colder we'd have gotten bombed here in Cedar Falls. 1" rain = 1' snow about :)

Well I have been getting some good deals on Ebay...my other addiction, on snow attire for the family. I also bought the wife a 04 Envoy in October, so yeah I want to get some use out of that stuff. I want to use the 4x4....I paid for it.

lol - i dont have a 4x4

i have reverse cheapness disease, basically it works like this.

i am to cheap to by snow tires and rims

so i will ruin the tires and rims i have in the winter

so i will buy new tires and rims in the summer

end result- i spent more money

^^ its true thats his logic

I am not gonna buy new tires and rims for winter. I am gonna do the same as you in the spring.

i bought new all season tires for the winter, and im still buying rims and tires in the spring/summer...

I only have like 9,000 miles on my tires so I think I will be fine this winter. They are all seasons. If not.....I guess I will know. Besides on the days my wife doesn't work and it is bad out I will take the Envoy to work.

oh see i got the summer performance tires with mine so i didnt think that would be the best decision

No that wouldn't. Did that in my civic last year along with a lower strut bar. I was plowing with the bar and the fronts were like skies. Just honk while you go through the intersections. LOL

Oh it soooooo sucked cruisin in a snow storm with that car. I would be going along following the tracks on the interstate and then everyone would decide that they would merge all the lanes together into the fast lane. That's great in all but I need to get over to the off ramp. Man that car would get squirrelly when I would cross over to the off ramp. Or the best....dodging snow chunks that fall off the damn vehicles because some ass can't kick off the snow from around his wheel wells. Damn snow buggers!!!

Quattro + all seasons = snowmobile :)

I had an old Toyota Cressida.. RWD, inline-6, light car that's high off the ground.. for my first winter, suuuucked. I put like 5 saltbags in the trunk and still had no traction.

I always had a fondness in my heart for those boxy sedans. Maybe that's one reason I ended up with the Maxima wagon...the Toyota was actually a better looking car, even the early ones.
