I put the chip in on Sunday. I'm kind of impressed at the difference it made in driving the car. It feels alot better down low now, and throttle response is alot quicker.

Well I threw some smoked GTI taillights on it last night. Also got the wheels and euro manifold in the mail today. I'm going to order a set of spacers tonight.

I wish we had the same bolt pattern cause I love those rims. Considering the car you started out with you really cant go wrong, the things gonna look good.

I think the camera is awesome so far. Granted, I haven't transferred any pictures to my computer yet. But on the little lcd they look great:D . But I really like the quick shutter speed with it. I was using like a 4 year old Kodak before, so anything is an improvement.

That's the thing that sucks about my current camera. The shutter speed is W-A-Y--T-O--S-L-O-W.

Well where to start, this car might go in a different direction soon. I'm getting rid of the rack, going to paint it, maybe bumpers, maybe sideskirts. I haven't decided yet, anyone have any suggestions on some nice bumpers?

The main reason for this is that a couple weeks ago I got backed into in a parking lot. Not terrible, but the guys hitch ripped the top of the bumper up and shattered the fog light. And on top of that I lost half my lip last night. So it kind of pisses me off, so to make me fell better I want to improve it.

I'm also comtemplating switching it back to the golf front.

I also have the new color for the car picked out. Its a flat metallic green.

If I keep stock bumpers on the car I'll keep the rxII's on there and space them out, but if I switch to aftermarket bumpers I want something with a bigger lip, and I'll flare the fenders.

I don't know, I guess I'm kind of looking for suggestions from you guys on some of the things, I feel bad, I'm too busy working on the other car and this one is kind of getting neglected.

Diego_is_the_man has some e-code style lights for about $200 I think. They are made by a company in Germany, I believe, they're just not OEM Hellas.

I'm going to get some new headlights and joey mod them, my CL duckbill lip should be here in the next couple days, need to pick out my new wheels, my paint will be here this week.

Now I just need to get to Kleiner's when he's there to get the side moldings, steering wheel, fog light and we will be golden.

Oh how I wish it was from the business. That's keeping me from doing what I want with this car right now.


I think I'll be able to get the CL lip to work (plus I already had the VR lip and I hate buying the same thing I already had). The car will be low, coilovers soon, possibly cutting the dead coil all the way around for the time being.
