Hey guys
I'm new to PKG but have been into VW for years. As I said in the "unofficial" Iowa thread on vortex, I'm mostly diesel, and mostly stock.
My first VW was a 1988 Fox wagon (no power) traded for a 1987 Quantum Syncro in tornado red (wish I still had it), then because I bought a house I had to move to a truck / van for a while. I bought an A3 Golf, sold that and bought a 97 TDI which I still have plus I've accumulated other projects like my 79 Peugeot 504 D (which is in the process of getting a TD engine)
My DD around-town unit is a 1986 Golf D 4 dr. If you see a maroon golf with Orlando wheels, westy front-end running around that's me. Sometimes it has castellette wheels on it too.
I tend to acquire projects needing a lot of help. I currently have a no-title 1981 rabbit diesel truck that needs a bunch of work and 1986 Golf D that's getting stripped for parts/engine/trans for the truck.
Anyway...enough ramble.
