This is my first VW and loving it. All I know is I'm part of the VW/Audi family 4 life.

2007 2.0T Passat with Sport Package

Got the car in Jan 07 from Jordan after waiting a couple weeks for them to find exactly what I wanted. Well worth the wait.

Mods:
50% Tint all around
Clear corners

Future Mods:
Full exhaust (haven't decided on what yet)
APR Stage 1
Forge DV
Blue Aspherical Mirrors
and more as I think of them.

I was absolutely amazed at the difference such a small part made. The car looks good on that sport suspension Todd :tu:

Looking good...I think the B6 will be the one to replace my W8.

The clear markers are sweet...I'm going for smoked side markers myself since my Passat is black. :tu:

Yeah, I went down to LuJack's last October and damn, was I a kid in a candy store. :D Their showroom is the bomb!! But I went over to the VW section as soon as I got there and sat in a B6. I was totally impressed; I just wish I could've taken one for a spin! :tu:

If/when I do go for the B6...4Motion or bust, baby! :laugh:

Woot B-Day presents are starting to arrive. Got my Euro switch today and got it installed in less than 5 mins after the ups guy dropped it off.

Also got a PA11-VW6 and Sat pass thru from Enfig.com installed Monday, so I now have AM/FM/6 Disc CD/Sat/Ipod :eek:

More to come hopefully by the end of the week.

Nope just parking lights and of course parking/fogs combo without headlights. Oh and it will do my rear fog when it gets here.....

Todd, where did you get your clear corners...I want to get smoked side markers but ModBargains wants $100 for a full set. (I guess that includes the bulbs too...) Do you think that's too much or does it sound about right?

actually i havent seen a B6 passat with city lights at all :(

and i've noticed that none of the current VWs that are equipped with HIDs have city lights, with the exception of the Phaeton - the MKVs would be a good example

it seems they are now using a more traditional 'parking light' in the headlight housing and equipping them with fog lights instead -- actually producing light infront of the car (unlike city lights) but still low enough so they dont blind other drivers or pedestrians in congested city areas. i wish they wouldn't omit them on HIDs, esp on the GTI since they look so good and give that true euro look

Rear fog, blue tinted mirrors, and some trim pieces to make the interior nicer. Gosh I can't wait.

Are you getting the split aspherical (or however its spelled) mirrors? I want a set but every time I remember to order them they seem to be out of stock everywhere :mad:

Well the Brown guy finally came and I spent my Sat evening putting the new toys on.

Ill get pics of all the goodies tonight. Everything went on without real issue but will say the rear fog was a PITA to move one wire to a different location on the ECU but did get it. Thanks Mike for the tip about the staple, that did the trick. :tu:

Just realized I never got pics of the goodies. Well I have some more thats due to arrive on friday. Got myself a set of winter wheels...... well because 18" all season blow. Can't wait to get them on, you busy Friday afternoon Gary? :D

Well, I am quite busy at work this week as I am taking next week off and trying to get somethings finished up. Also I plan on hitting the bar after work on Friday to do a little celebration.... Maybe Saturday?

Well they arrived and I got them mounted. Holy cow what a difference a real winter tire makes. I like!!

Believe me, I would rather be working on cars, this working 11-12 hour days stuff sucks. Glad you got them on and your initial :eek: at how close the calipers are to the wheels was pretty funny :laugh:

Ouch that sucks, I liked today since I was actually busy the entire time. Haven't seen that in a long time.

Yeah I did a oh sh!t kind of thing since I can barely get my pinky in there. Thanks for setting me straight. No rubbing or anything and drives great.

Thanks Mike, I like them too, you can really tell a difference between the 18 and the 16. They look tiny.
