so i washed my car today

and im pissed, it was a beautiful afternoon and i was like im gunna go wash and wax my car and relax and itl be nice. but noooooooooooooooooooooo

i washed it in the high pressure do it urself car wash and im all like yeah this is gunna look nice! then i pull it out into the sun to dry it and i get out go to push my back vw logo to open my trunk and wtf!

the high pressure musta cracked my painted rear emblem, now there is a hug chip like a quater of an inch to a half an inch wide and the length of the outside area and all the paint around that area is cracked and ready to flake off.

i was pretty pissed that i didnt even wax my car i just came home, looks like ill have to do a repainting in the spring time now....

Yay, DSM.

Sucks about your car, I've never like to wash my car anywhere but my driveway. Those sprayers at the DIY car washes always take forever to switch between soap and rinse.

My driveway is horrible, I have to bottom out the car to get up it so I just park out back. I always hated using pressure washers too, once I took a damn nice chip out of one of my old DSMs :(
