I'm trying to figure out how I can take my full version of Microsoft Office 2003 off my old laptop (IBM ThinkPad) and put it onto my new laptop (HP). I only have the 'trial' version on my new laptop.
Does anyone know how to do it?
TIA! :beerglass:

Well, here's the kicker...when I go to click on an office application, there is a file missing "sku112.cab" installation file...anything?

I'm new to this, I'm trying it now. I had to get BitLord to extract it...

If it's a trial version, there is usually a serial key that you need to unlock it so it becomes a full version. I don't know what you tried, but this might be one of the possibilities? Have you tried using the serial key from your other Office with the new one?

Looks like its a common problem with Office 2003

I've seen that but it doesn't solve the problem. My next computer purchase will be a Mac, no doubt about it! Let's just hope the 2007 version will bring me more success or luck, whichever...

I'm thinking about going Mac too. Just love the overall at home feeling when I work on them at my work place.
