Are you trying to add it to your system, or replace an existing one?

Adding it may require pulling the wiring, which is something I am not willing to do...

As far as I know, OEM VW changers are plug and play. This would be an addition. I was debating on either a changer or an iPod adapter, but I think a changer would suit me better.

Do you have the monsoon system and if you do, are there cd changer controls along with the plug for the changer where the factory location would be??

1) Yes
2) The jack for the changer is in my trunk.
3) The changer controls are integrated on the stereo (1-6).

My car's a 99.5. The gti's also have a carpeted door that you open for access to the amp and cd changer... neither were very dusty when I first opened it..

I'm still debating if I want to get rid of it. I have an mp3 player too so I could use that input for it...

Yup, that's what I have too.

It doesn't matter to me what you decide brah. I'm sure I can find one eventually. :tu:

I wouold have to say, don't wait on me but if you have cash for it at rally for dyamond I will consider it ;)

I actually have a nice deck that I've been thinking about putting in. This would give me an excuse to get it outta my car. If it's going up for sale you'll be the first one that will know.
