Hey kids im lookin for a nice hard drive camcorder to do some video work for PKG so that maybe i can actually contribute to pkg instead of just being post whore:tu:

so if your selling one or know someone who is let me know. id really like to have something for the rally :tu:

hmmm how much would a nice one be for u? i dont need anything huge, like 20-30 gigs and works well. i think i was lookin at panasonic before... u think u could check that out for me?

wait what do u guys think is better mini dv (i heard its easier to edit cause its raw video) or HDD??

Go for the Sony or the JVC......you are looking at around 400 probably, maybe less.

Mini DV requires you to use the camcorder to play but has excellent quality and they are cheaper. I prefer Sony.......but they don't work well with some video editing software and just plain don't work with Mac.

The HD camcorders are easier to transfer the data and you save money on not buying tapes.

thats ok cause i dont use mac but one guy said mini dv is easier to edit on comp...
