today i installed my rear euro tub, GLX tails, and front smoked sidemarkers. here are a couple pics i snapped as i finished up. i need to wash the car and get some good full-car shots soon. maybe tomorrow if it stays nice out like it was today. :D

this COMPLETELY changed the look of the rear end. i like it much better this way. now i just need to kill that damn pinstripe....lol :banghead

i'm assuming its been there from the factory. the red has even faded to white in some places. its going to take a heat gun to remove it, i'm sure. :banghead

Your probably going to have a darker stripe under it when you remove it...
Looks good! I like the choice of mods and it definitely cleans it up well.

Definately will be a black pin stripe where the paint didn't fade with the rest of the car.

thanks for the compliments, man. i realize there will probably be a darker stripe underneath the pinstripe, but even that is better than a half-faded, peeling, nasty looking red one, lol. :D

it's how body shops remove pinstripes works like a charm
that's not a bad idea. may hafta check out O'Reilly's and see if they've got one. does that just mount into a drill? or a buffer of some sort?

it is a soft compound rubber the only place that would have it is a body supply place like the carquest on SE14th in DM or something but they usually want well over 30 for one of those at 12.95 that is the best price I have found on one of those things
the thing has a standard hex on it so it will go on to any electric drill

yeah, after this round of stuff, i'll be out of cash for awhile. this was basically the money i had to spend on myself for next semester. anything else will have to be scrounged up out of the couches and from taking cans back for bottle deposits, lol. :D

Soo looks like I'll be in Ames often. How much per trip, you know? I'm sure it depends on your blood but it'll take half a tank of gas for me to get there and back :p
my new early Vento grill and TT chip showed up today. i'll probably be trying to install both of them sometime tonight. :D :tu:

I got the grill and TT chip installed tonight. the chip is AWESOME! i wasn't sure at first, but after doing a couple good launches and really taking the RPM's up there, i could feel the difference. i even got the car up just under 7K RPMs.... and then under deceleration and at idle it just sits there and purrs. no CEL either. :D

Blood plasma doesnt have a type. aventis has a place here in DM too just google it IIRC it was two visits $100 per week (40 then 60) and you could donate every other week so $200 per month
blood plasma is the clear stuff that emulsifies red and white blood cells basically they pull a pt from ya spin the shit out of it so it seperates keep the plasma and pump the rest of the shit back into your veins
as a side bonus it will decreaese your tolerance of booze for about two days

Yeah, that's like a few min drive. Carefull on that road. The cops sit along the sides for speeders. Specialy at the school and that church up by 86th.
i drive a 2.slow, i don't have to worry about speeding, lol. :D

BTW, went on a 20 mile drive around the outskirts of ames tonight. 1FastB5 and i each took our cars and hit some nice straights as well as curvy roads. it was a lot of fun. i need to figure out the route on a map so we can try to plan some sort of a large cruise for a group of PKG cars. :tu:
