So I've started to tear into the Merkur - which I'm finding has a myriad of issues.

1) The headlinder looks ok, but what's the easiest way to re-do it? Where can I get the fabric for it? Any tips or tricks would be helpful.

2) Along that line - I think I would like to re-carpet the car too since some yahoo cut a huge hole to run a few speaker wires. Anyone have a source for automotive carpet? Or would something from Lowes work just as good? Any special adhesives I should use to mold it to the unibody?

3) The cloth seat covers are in good shape, but the driver's one moves around - I would guess applying a spray adhesive and place the seat cover over that would help this?

4) The dash has a plastic cap on it that was glued on... is there any way I can remove it or is it there for good? I bet I would never be able to find a replacement one if I broke the one thats on there.

Thanks!
