Well, I officially have zero patience and restraint when it comes to cars. My cup kit and bushings showed up yesterday after ordering everything on Monday and I just couldn't wait to install them. Stef and I went out to the garage around 10pm and finished everything up about 1:30am. Not too bad for my first suspension job on a VW. Gary's tools really made the install easy.

- Thanks to Gary for giving me his spare top spring hats and letting me borrow his floor jack and impact wrench.
- Thanks to Sam for renting those spring compressors and leaving them at Gary's house. I ended up using those as well, lol.

As soon as I get my mitsubishi sold... Hopefully within the next 2 months, this summer it will happen. Really don't know which setup to get-

coils, cup kit, race springs/sport struts

I might adjust the rears down a little, but I do like the raked look, especially on a Mk3.
It's much better than the reverse rake like I had previously:

I took a WAY steep incline out of a lot over by Drake University and rubbed it a bit. I knew it was going to be too steep but I went for it anyways, lol. Plus the lip is textured so at least I can't scrape any paint off. :tu:

Now that the car is lowered, I try even harder to park near restaurant windows so that I can stare at it while I'm eating my food. :D

It's just a blast to cruise around in now. I might even spring for some strut bars to increase the giddiness-factor. :tu:

Nice Mk3 i used to have a white 96 mk3 and loved it until some punk ran a stop sign and totaled it. Even worse part is that i just picked it up from from a shop that did my timing belt and a new crankshaft seal but hey it was only $500 bucks :mad: I think i have some pics laying around of it but if i can only figure out how my scanner works.
