i know nothing of audi's, so i'm curious, is that a good price, reasonable, or over priced? i'd love to have that!

Personally I would pay what he is asking, obviously I would try to get him lower but for as clean as that car is and considering the miles are really not a lot for that year I think it is reasonably priced. I'm no expert this is just my opinion.

Thats not a good price at all - there was a 93 S4 in FT dodge last year, just as clean for $4,500 and a 95 S6 with that mileage books for $4500

Price is a bit high, but depending on maintenance that has been done and considering the mileage isn't terrible, it should be easy to talk down a bit.

And yes, these have amazing sleeper potential!

Indeed, if everything in his post is true, that's a very good price for a well-maintained, 2nd owner S6. I so wish I could pick it up for myself!

97' S6's are RARE, you can find find 95.5's often but rarely will you see the 97's in the US. Price is justified if everything is in good working order. I could see $10000 for a perfect low mileage one.

I went and test drove the 93 in Ft Dodge last year. It was a POS. The car did not spool up and the seller kept saying how the cops are real bad and kept turning me down 35 mph roads.
Typical dishonest used car salesman. Then he acted offended that I drove 2 hrs only to drive his POS car he lied about.
Not to mention the car was a prior salvage that had been rear ended and still had body damage.
I do not know if this car is worth the asking price but it is definately nicer than the one from Ft Dodge.
