I've alway been curious to see what/how Netflix accesses the internet. Hotels are struggling with free internet as guests commonly use netflix/hulu, etc. instead of buying the movies from the hotel. (I suspect Redbox is in the mix as I think every major airport has them too)

I queued up the movie "Rampage" on Netflix and it is giving me a 720 HD pic.

I am using a Ruku box so not sure if it is the box or Netflix at this point - will queue up a movie on the laptop and then provide update. Just idle/recliner/saturday curiosity at this point.

I've known this for a long time.

I love netflix! I can only operate it on my phone tho. They have quite a odd selection of instants sometimes compared to the mailed ones

It was all over the fucking map last night...Changing speed and connection qualities every 10-15 minutes...annoying...My network is as stable as the come too.

I will be honest I watch netflix on my iphone4 on AT&T 3G (1.5mbps) an it's just as if I watch it on wifi I never really did an in depth look at speeds I just worry if it gets fuzzy or choppy
