Beauty. I've always liked the Corrado, there used to be a dark green one running around town around Waterloo Rd., haven't seen it for a while though.

I really liked the looks too. The sticker is in our glove box. It listed over $23k in '93! WAY out of our budget back then!
(We had a Diesel Jetta!)
I've always loved the Corrado.

Thanks for the nice comments guys.
Sinan, is your Rabbit listed in the member rides? If not, I'm curious as to how you got it equipped. My first VW was an '81 Rabbit and in some ways, still my favorite.

I didn't list it yet (or who ever lists it).
I got 6 CD changer, manual shift, seat warmers, 4 door, 16" alloys, 10 speaker sound system, ASR etc...
is that what you wanted to know?
I don't know if you've seen him, but there is an older guy in Waterloo that has a diesel rabbit (tan color, MK. I). Pretty rusty, but still runs. I never have chance to stop and chat with him because I always see him moving, but if I see him, I'll end up telling him to enter his rabbit into the contest that VW has for the oldest (and most mileage too) running rabbit diesel.

Yes - That's what I was curious about. They are nice without a ton of $ on options.
I haven't seen that one. We sold our '85 Diesel Jetta to a vacuum salesman in '93 when it already had 237k. I haven't seen it since 2000, he may have retired. Those old diesel rabbits never die....just rust if you aren't careful!

I'd buy it if that guy wanted to sell. It'd be nice project on free days. I doubt he would sell it tho. With todays gas prices, I bet old fart is getting 40mpg city.. :D and is laughing his ass of at gas companies.

My wife wants one of those soooo bad. So do I by the way. What's up with the seats not working? Check fuse and such? I actually installed a heated seat in my MKV cause I am a wuss. lol

maybe the heaters itself burned out.
