Forgot to mention car has over heating problem previous owner told me driving on interstate it would be. Fine. But with his failed description on the interior i don't think i would trust a long drive with this car.

Stumpled on this - bought with a slight misunderstanding on the interior's condition.

It has passenger side window broke out - glass spilled all over the interior.
Mid-pipe is broke - LOUD EXHAUST

Starts right up. Was told it was cali car - but didnt prevent rear apron rust ( another misunderstanding on its condition )

Non a/c car - has a neuspeed upper strut bar and a home made looking rear brace down low.

Seats are trashed. Door panels have speaker holes cut in.

Did i mention that it starts and drives?

I kinda wanna keep the snowflakes - I will give this car a week for sale running or i will tear it apart for a PART OUT.

It has JH engine and a 4k tranny

Located in Valley Nebraska

$500 - cash money
Gotta be worth that in parts?

Dang, don't part that out!!!! It looks pretty nice except for the interior! $500 is a great deal, IMO...someone would be glad to buy that off ya (and if I had money to spend, I'd be all over it....I'd love to be rocking out in a mark 1!).

Yay, Abby! I'm super glad to see that someone is buying this and it's not getting parted out. I think it'll make an excellent sibling to your other rabbit (and a fun project!).

I really like this car but unless I know what the overheating is caused by I don't think I wanna jump on this. I want to be able to drive er back home :)

Any engine bay pictures or underneith pictures? How do the strut towers look? How do the wheel wells look? Hard to tell by the pictures how much rust is really there except for the one you took of the apron. Thanks.

wooo sweet!! def check out all the typical rust areas.:tu: hopefully the overheating issue isnt a headgasket/head issue. and something simple like a water pump, thermostat, or fan switch it should be just fine to cruise home! i did with the caddy anyways, as it needs a fan switch. looks like a fun project!

fan switch and if the t stat is stuck open could be cruise home fine but anything else... not so fine. I wouldn't recomend driving this 3 hours home anyway. Good luck Abby!

Yay! I'd say it's totally worth the money and like I said....sounds like a fun project for someone! Glad someone from the site picked it up! I think you'll enjoy the Mk1 looks....even if it needs a little work, Abby!

Definitely a great fit for you, Abby!

And if the overheating is due to the engine, 16V's are everywhere and very easy to swap ..... ;)

Hell yeah btw overheating might be easy fix maybe due to air in the main coolant hose I had that problem
