If you paint it you will have to repaint it very often as that lip makes contact with lots of stuf.

Don't rattle can it. It never shines like the rest of the car and won't match that great

DO NOT RATTLE CAN....of course unless you want it to look like crap. Lips take ALOT of abuse on these cars, especially if you have any suspension mods.

Use normal car paint in your OEM front car valance. Don't waste your money on so called 'plastic paints' when all you really need is a good key and some plastic primer. Also, people must remember that paint is not indestructible. Good Key->Plastic Primer->Basecoat->Lacquer is all you should need.

if you use the RIGHT paint you can pull it off. i painted the front bumper on the range rover and its a perfect match and turned out looking flawless.

the paint you need to get however your going to need to get from a professional automotive paint store, not just your typical walmart...

this was a textured bumper, i did some minor sanding, then automotive primer, the color matched paint and finished with a high quality clear coat.

well it took me till now to remember i had this post and i noticed a noob only 4 posts in was already bashin! anyways i decided not to paint the valance but i do have an fk hood notch filler and these steps should be similar in painting that so i will take the advice and get that thing painted and put on to help the apperance a bit more. also this winter i have been buying some additions for my car yet to be installed and they are reflex silver eyelids, chrome ecs mirror caps, smoked bumber and fender markers, CAI and those all will be installed when it gets alil warmer out.
