Just as the title states, I got my euroswitch in, so I no longer need my stock one. I also deleted the DLR function (daytime running lights), so the next guy won't burn out his headlights once a year.
Ready to plug in. Works just fine.
I'd say $15 shipped is fair. I was gonna put it on vortex but thought I'd see if anyone here would want it first.

how do you delete the day time lights? and how much for the lights? is that 15 for the shipping or 15 shipped and bought?

I believe you either snip off or bend over one of the tabs on the switch. It basically just keeps the electrical system from plugging that feature in.
Also, $15 shipped means that's all you pay. The shipping and the price of the part is included in the $15. :tu:

Haha wow this thread is old! I thought, "who else is selling a US switch with the DRL's deleted on here???" Then I saw it was MY thread :D
Okay I'm gonna help you out- It's very simple if you want to do this yourself to your own switch:
First you'll need to pull the switch out. Make sure the car is off. While your headlight switch is in the "off" position, push in (towards the front of the car) the moveable part of the switch.
Using some pressure and with the switch still pressed in, turn it clockwise just a little bit, until it won't move any more. Now let go. You can now pull the whole switch out freely. (Wasn't that easy? No tools needed! YAY!!!)
Unhook the wiring harness by pinching the clips on the sides and gently wiggling the connector free.
----------------------------Now you're ready to do the DRL delete!!!----------------------------
For a U.S. switch:
You want to look at the back of the switch and find the pin labeled "TFL" (Tageszeit [Friggin?] Laufen)
You need to remove (grip with pliers, twisting back and forth until it breaks off at the base), or bend down, or tape over, this pin. I chose to bend mine down on my euro switch. I don't think tape would be that great because it is a tight fit and you don't want debris or residue on your connector, but I suppose it would work.
For you Euroswitch owners:
There are 17 pins on the back of my euro switch. On a euroswitch, you are going to disable current from going through 2 of the pins. The 2 pins we want to disable are the pins labeled "TFL" and "560". That way you can have the no lights during the day, or parking lights, or fogs with no headlights.
Phew!
