I love the fact that you left the exterior looking so stock, and dumped a lot of money into the engine. I bet that is one fast MKIII!!!:D :D :D

The car really looks great. I love the shot of the EIP intercooler.

If you do end up keeping it for awhile, I would add GLX side skirts, paint the FK grill blue, and add the dummy lights back into the front bumper. :tu:

We've got a guy on here that specializes in VW recycled parts. He might have a single dummy light for ya. I'll check it out.

I think I understand what you're saying about the VR6 front lip. It looks like the pipes on that one side hang down low. Some textured GLX skirts for the sides of the car would really bring it all together. :tu: :D

thanks... yeah thats what i thought but... oh well still looks ok so it can stay that way for now. Im dumping enough money into it today... had some great wonderful iowa road rock chips on the hood so i decided to just get the whole front end resprayed... so yeah... its all getting repainted and will look even better.. you cant see um unless you know they are their but.. just bugs me so...

I'm sure it will be great to have the whole front resprayed. I've got lots of chips/dents in my hood as well, plus I still need to paint the front grill. Like you said, that's the kind of stuff that really bugs me, even though other people may not notice it.....

BTW, can I get your opinion on a few of your parts?

How do you like the Neuspeed strut bars and rear sway bar?
What about the Eurosport short shifter?

It's nice to find another semi-local Mk3 that has some parts already that I can get opinions on. :D

having had a stock 98 and then having this one... well... the eurosport shifter is bad.. haha no joke.. its not too short and not too long... the neuspeed stuff lives up to its name and it handles really well.. but it also helps that i had the whole kit all at the same time... the weitec kit and the neuspeed was all done at the same time and so.....

suspension pretty much makes a vw... from what i have learned..... they are really bad ass before but even more so after it is all done...

Thanks for your input. I've been looking at cup kits and strut bars lately, just trying to figure out what brand to go with.

blaujetta

i have only had one brand and thats weitec and its a 60/40 cup kit so... its pretty nice...
