need vagcom

anyone around qc with vagcom that can scan my car? if so, how much do you charge? its a 24v vr6 and the epc light has been going on and off. it will sometimes die on cold starts and needs gas, and when i give it gas it has a lope for about 5 seconds then smooths out. throttle response is also weird feeling when the light is on. it doesnt miss, so i dont think its the coilpacks. i put a new maf sensor on about 800 miles ago hoping to fix the problem. could it be the throttle body maybe? i dont know what else the problem could be. :dunno:

if i dont find someone around here ill probably make the trip up. isn't there a vw junkyard up in dubuque? i went to a local shop that works on european cars and they said its probably the dbw that makes it buck and it probably just needs reprogrammed. im hoping so. what would you charge for a scan?

could be coolant temp sensor! was the maf an oem unit

$10 for a scan and i might be able to help you out. I am on the south end of dbq anyways so just pm me and let me know.

i ran some seafoam through it again and the epc light came on after. i forgot to mention the cruise control hasnt been working this whole time either. i had a guy at rev hard scan it amd he said an abs code came up along with something else. i dont think they had the right software though. throttle response is sluggish when the epc light comes on.
