Ignore the 4x4 stance lol, I'm waiting for my coils to get here!
Very nice, how long does it take to paint calipers?
The kit's are sold at autozone for about 16$
http://autozone.com/R,NONAPP9454/store,/shopping/accessoryProductDetail.htm
Basically you paint them on the car, so you need to clean the brakes with the spray included in the kit, it drys really fast and was just standard brake cleaner.
Jack the car up, pop the tires off, clean it up, tape off your breaks.. about 20 minutes to do all that.
Then about 15 minutes per caliper painting (i was kinda sloppy). Then you're supposed to let it dry 2 hours before putting the wheels on, then 24 before driving.
I waited 2 hours, put the wheels on and drove off to get some grub. I saw DerSubtileVento on my way to get food right after :)
about 4 hours total really.
gottal love a dub addiction that strong!

Hey lookin good! Those are my favorite 17" stockers, they look great on the reflex color. Are you planning on painting the valences?
Are you planning on painting the valences?
We heard talk of a whole new front bumper last night.... I voted on a blue .:R32 bumper... :D
I definitely want to paint the valences but I've been seriously thinking about getting one of these

325 + free shipping sounds like a good deal

That's like the one we saw the other night. Something about it just looks strange to me. It's like the headlights aren't large enough to go with the bumper.

I agree with you......it looks strange. But still cool.

black MKV GTI front? Thats the first thing I noticed. Don't like the wheels tho...looking too "mexicano" for me. On some cars, like Impala, its good, but not on Vdub (at least for my taste).
