New from Des Moines

Hey all, My name's Sam, I'm just recently moved to Des Moines from Grand Rapids, MI. I found your site by talking to DerSubtileVento, who found me on another board . I just met up with him at Starbucks and he's a super nice guy (thanks for coming out to meet me!) :tu: I work in IT at Principal, and live right downtown dsm.

I drive a 03 Golf GL, which I picked up on the 31st of last month, I looked and looked for a Gti around Des Moines but couldn't find one. Overall I'm pretty happy with my GL. Since the 31st, I've added: GTI tails, smoked bumper markers, some Monte's, stubby antenna and some tint. I've ordered some Vmaxx coils and can't wait to get them installed! Anyway it's never ending with the car so I'll shut up haha.

I'm very happy and anxious to get to know you all!! Kudos on the site, it's awesome!

Well, next up are Coils, Intake, and exhaust, I have the drop in K&N in already but I think I want a CAI.

I just had a sub and amp installed last friday, and I'm still geeked about that. I'd love a Big break kit, but they're so expensive.

Welcome! I work IT at Wells Fargo downtown, maybe you will see me on the streets of downtown sometime.

Oh, and if you are going to install the coils yourself you may want to come by my place on the 5th of May, we are going to do a coilover install on my R32. Should be the same process on the fronts as your car, rears are a little different from what I understand. :tu:
