10k? Wow, no offense but that's WAY too high for a 97 2.slow. But good luck anyways.
I know the car probably has a lot of value in your eyes, Shane, but like iadubber said, its going to be hard to get $10K for it. Unfortunately, in our world, modifications don't really add to the price of the car. I think something around $6-7K may be more feasible, but it also depends what kind of mileage you have, etc.

well its got 132,000 but its worth a shot i want to get at least 8 out of it becuz i put way too much in it to sell it for too cheap ... like i said up there i replaced a lot of mechanical parts on the car such as suspension and brakes all such parts .... and the paint job killed me .. the car runs great and has a upgaded clutch in it not stage 2 but in the middle of stock and stage 2

I hate to say it Shane, but that's the name of the game. I had 14k in a civic and sold it for 4k two years ago. You just can't get that kind of money back out of these things. 8k will even be a stretch with that many miles and not being a VR6.

Nice car but I agree with everyone else. You buy mods for yourself, not for their resale value. In most cases mods actually take away from a cars value. But nice car anyway and good luck with the sale.

Even though you paid all of that money for everything, it doesn't mean you can just add it all into the price of the car. I know it's probably not what you want to hear, but I guess you'll just have to see it first hand when you don't see anyone asking about the car at $10K....

I might be kicked off the boards :D, but I'd give him 10K if I had it. Looks like he kept the car in very good shape. And me being a VW asshole (fan :D ) I'd give him the asking price. You know how much of his own time he put into the car? That's priceless I think.
Ok, where did I put my flame protective suit....:D
