I need some one local in the QC to come over and help me figure out the wiring setup with my new headlights. i have the hole front end torn off my jetta and my new headlights have a weird wiring setup goin that im just stumpt about! Please call or text me if ur able to come over and help! I will pay u in beer or cash cuz i need this done before 9 p.m. tonight! (563) 940-7588

i got it back together cuz i ran short on time and i have to drive to work tomorrow. its atleast street legal for the most part but not how i want things just yet

hmmmm I might be able to help. I dunno what your trying to do but I've done a lot with wiring before so I might be able to assist you on this. Not sure when I can get the free time to help ya though.

If you're putting HIDs in your aftermarket headlights I'd reccomend sorting all the wiring off the car and get yourself to the point where you can simply swap them out for the stockers and plug them in. Have the tools ready to aim them as well. Don't try to figure that out when they are already in ;)

I've messed with my mk4 headlights a ish-ton. I'm on my *i dunno* set that's been on the car. First GTI front end, then jetta swapped on with stockers, then my projector retros, tehn stockers again, then Cody's headlights, then Sarge's, then some other ones, and finally these Helix projectors. And when my retros were on I had to remove them and re-install them about 10 times to mess with em. :laugh:

well i went threw all the wires and i understand how they have things. what threw my off the most is how the aftermarket lights have my amber lights only turn signals and not running lights and turn signals. all the other wires r rights and i just have to wire my halos and LED's to the running lights so i can turn them on separate from my headlights and then i have to set up the HID's and adjust them and i should be good to go. i just had 2 clear my head and think about how everything works and its slowsly comein 2 me
