anyone know a good mkv jetta strut spring replacement thread i have had the parts sitting in my room forever just dont wanna pay $300 in labor:td:

You could do $200 in gas and bring the parts with to a GTG out here and we'll throw em on for you, save you $100:)

that sounds like a great idea i got vaca time too! well it would be only about $50 saved after i buy the case of beer and bottle of captain lol

they are one time use stretch bolts so once you take em out you need new ones

thats why i love forums :D guessing i need four of these bad boys? that little $5 bolt would have left me seriously screwed (literally lol)

I lowered a mk5 and their is no need to pull the axle bolts i dont understand why every diy says that

Also half the damn bolts on the car are stretch bolts and 9 times out of 10 nobody replaces em.
